Atlanta Condominium Complex

JOB PROFILE

Chatsworth Warehouse

This project is a new TPO membrane system over existing metal roof on a metal building used as a warehouse building. One of the challenges on this project was the slope of the roofs on the two sections. This was a great opportunity to put our safety program into practice using our fall protection system while installing the new roof system.

North Decatur Plaza

This shopping center was built in the late 1940’s and presented us with a challenge to remove three existing built up roofs, dead penetrations and equipment as well as replacing old tongue and groove decking. We changed the look of this roof and installed a tapered roof system to provide positive drainage. This project turned out great!

Sherlock’s Wines

On this retail space we added an additional 2.5-inches of isocyanurate insulation to bring the owner’s building up to R-21 code and covered with a new TPO membrane.

805 Peachtree Condo Assoc

This is a high-rise condo association with penthouses and balconies as well as many a/c units that had to be lifted and reset as well as pavers on balconies on individual owner’s balconies. The challenge was working with all of this on the roof, the individual owners and crane set up.

Palisades Office Park

This project was a unique job because it allowed me to see how modern technology has changed over the years in my career in the roofing industry with new materials and using the Fleeceback System.

MTI Baths

It was great to be able to install new skylights into this manufacturing facility and see what a difference they made in the interior lighting. The feedback we received from the employees was very positive. The new skylights allowed much more natural lighting in over their work stations.

980 Hammond

980 Hammond is a Class-A high rise corporate building in Atlanta. We removed the old roof system and gravel and reinstalled a new roof membrane. The challenges with this project were crane set up around the corporate building and managing noise over offices inside.

Amcor

The beauty of this project was the challenge of working around the amount of equipment on the roof of this manufacturing plant (many penetrations and large a/c units). The new roof membrane is a product that has a “film” on it that protect and maintains the integrity of the membrane during the install process. Once the project is complete, the “film” is peeled off and the white membrane is intact with no foot traffic and debris on top of the clean white surface.

Paces Cumberland

We foamed down insulation board to existing roof and doing this not only saved a great deal of time because we didn’t have to tear off the roof, but it was a great cost savings to the customer.

Cross Creek Condo Assoc

We had the opportunity to install a 135 mil TPO fleece back system at Cross Creek Condominiums in Atlanta. One of the largest benefits of this membrane is that it allowed us to install a very durable roof system in a short time frame with minimal disturbance to the homeowners. It is a quick and clean installation process which is great in a very busy work environment. This system was the perfect solution to the obstacles and challenges these roof designs presents.
